  大谷のおかげで15年ぶりにMLBに戻ってきた。15年以上どうでもよかったのに、去年見てたらいつの間にかドジャースファンになってた。選手全員好き。最高のチーム文化、見せびらかさない、毎プレー全力、チームワーク抜群。同じチームでプレーするのを本気で楽しんでるのが伝わってくる。マンシーもお気に入りの一人。あのデカさは反則。Go Dodgers！

  Ohtani brought be back to MLB after not caring for over 15 years. Watching last season, became a Dodgers fan. Love all the players. Great culture, no showboating, full effort every play, great teamwork. It's obvious they really enjoy playing on the same team. And Muncy is one of my favorites. Absolute unit. Go Dodgers!

  42年来の熱狂的ドジャースファンだった。でも野球に嫌気がさして燃え尽きて、引っ越しもして、もう一生どのチームも追わないと思ってた。そんな時にエンゼルスの大谷ってやつの話を聞いて、気づけば彼が投げる日だけ試合を見てた。野球への情熱を取り戻させてくれたのは大谷ただ一人。2024年のFAではどこと契約しても追うつもりだった、宿敵のヤンキースやジャイアンツでもな。それがドジャースで、嬉しすぎる不意打ちだった。7年も見るのをやめてたのに、こうしてまたドジャースを応援してる。人生が一周回ってきた。MLBを見てるのは全部ショーヘイ・オオタニのおかげだ。

  I was a huge Dodgers fan for 42 years. Then, got fed up and burned out with baseball... Ohtani was the sole reason I rediscovered my passion for baseball and during free agency 2024, I was prepared to follow whatever team Ohtani signed with even if it was my lifelong hates Yankees or Giants. When he signed with the Dodgers it was an unexpected delightful surprise to me and here I am back to rooting for the Dodgers after stopping watching them for 7 years. My life has come full circle and I'm only even watching any mlb games thanks to Shohei Ohtani.

  前にワクワクさせられた選手はイチローが最後だった。親父をMLBに引き込んでドジャース党にしたのは野茂、でも俺をMLBに引き込んだのは間違いなくイチロー。親父が野茂大好きで、野茂が最初ドジャースにいたから、俺も自動的にドジャースファンに徴兵されたわけ（笑）。イチローがヒット量産して守備もエグくて、もう最高だった。その後はMLBから離れてた（プレミアリーグにハマってた）けど、大谷がエンゼルスからドジャース来た時に『お？』ってなって…で、見たら…マジでヤバい。

  the last player I remember that got me excited was Ichiro. Nomo was what got my dad into MLB and become a Dodgers guy, but Ichiro was who got me into MLB for sure... when Ohtani came from Angels to Dodgers, I was like "Oh?"... but DAMN.

  マンシー大好き、そして大谷に感謝。今やドジャースの投手6人もスタメン1〜9番もルーキーもキムも分かるようになった…マジで今うちは戦力ヤバすぎる。野球なんて好きでも興味もなかったのに、WBCのあと大谷をエンゼルスまで追いかけてさ、まあそこはクソみたいな年だったけど（笑）。それでこれがまだ2年目だぜ。

  I love max and thank to othani. I pretty much know 6 dodger pitcher and 1-9 and our rookies and Kim….. dude we just so stack right now. Never liked baseball or cared but follow Ohtani after the WBC to the angels and that was a shitty year 😂. Now this the base two year yet

  子供の頃の1番はずっとマイク・ピアッザだったけど、マンシーも確実に上位に食い込んでる！マット・ケンプも高い。

  Mike Piazza always my #1 growing up but Muncy is for sure up there! Matt Kemp also high on list.

  マンシーが『試合中、その場面ごとに特定の結果に集中する』って言ってたのが、ブルージェイズの方が総合的な打撃成績は遥かに上だったのにワールドシリーズを勝てた理由をまさに説明してる。ドジャースは場面が求める時にハイレベルで実行できた。それが、プレーオフ史上屈指の打撃を見せたチームを上回るのに十分だったんだ。

  When Max said they focus on specific outcomes in specific situations during the game it really explains why they were able to win the World Series despite the Blue Jays having the much better offensive numbers overall. The Dodgers were able to execute at a high level when the situation called for it. And it was enough to overcome a team that had one of, if not the best, offensive performances in the playoff history.

  野球が好きで、実際にプレーしたい人みんなに、マンシーが言ってた『毎打席、その場面が求めることをやろうとする』って話を分かってほしい。できなかった時はお互いに指摘し合って全員を律する。これが機能する“分担されたリーダーシップ”だよ。全員に等しく責任を持たせてる。そりゃ大金も大いに効いてるけど、どのチームもこのメンタリティを持ってるわけじゃ絶対にない。

  I hope that everyone who loves baseball and wants to PLAY baseball understand what Max was saying about trying to do what the situation calls for each and every at bat. And when it doesn't happen, they check each other and keep everyone in line. That's effective and shared leadership within their org. That's holding everyone equally accountable. The big money obviously helps a ton but there's just no chance that every team has this mentality.

  いや彼はアジア人で、アジアの文化は栄誉や評価をすごく重んじる、その一方で謙虚さと誠実さもちゃんと保つ。だからサイ・ヤング賞は彼にとって間違いなく大事だよ。GOATかどうかについては、そこまで重要じゃないと思う。今のスタッツを保ってリングと3連覇でシーズンを終えて、ポストシーズンでも結果を出せば、サイ・ヤングを取ろうが取るまいが、あいつはGOATだ。

  Bro he's Asian and Asians are all about accolades and validation as a culture while balancing in humility and sincerity. So yeah a Cy Young award is definitely important to him. As for being the GOAT, I do not think it's as important. If he ends his season with a ring, 3peat and keep the stats he has now and shows up post season, Cy Young or not, dude is the GOAT.
