  ニッキーは当時もっと評価されてしかるべきだった。キック史上屈指のボディ打ちの名手で、ガンガン前に出てペースを握るし、相手に合わせてプランを変えるのも上手い、佇まいも一級品。この動画ブアカーオ含め名選手だらけだし…ああ、あの時代が恋しいわ。

  Nieky should have been way more popular than he was at the time. One of the best body punchers in Kickboxing history, aggressive fighter dictating the pace, very skilled at adapting his gameplan and looked the part. Lots of great fighters in this one, including Buakaw. Man, I miss this era.

  オランダは層が厚すぎる。アマチュアですら異常に強いし、みんなオランダ勢とやりたがる。でも本場のオランダ人はリングだと本物のキラーなんだよな💪

  Too good, even amateurs are insanely good, always putting up a sludge, always happy to fight a dutch but Netherlandians especially are killers in that ring💪🏻

  いやマジでこいつ化け物だわ。喰らった技をそのまま習得していく対戦ゲームのキャラみたいなんだよ笑。倒された一撃を即座に自分の引き出しにする。あんな選手見たことない。

  But my God this guy is a beast. He's like a video game character in a game where you can learn the other fighters skills by having them done to you lol.

  いやー、いい時代だった！ニッキーを生で見てたし、ロビン・ファン・ローズマレン、ガブリエル・ヴァーガ、ジョセフ・ヴァルテリーニ…マーテル・グルーンハートも台頭してきてた頃。K-1のトーナメントも最高だったよな。

  Man, what a time it was! Remember watching Nicky live, Robin Van Roosmalen, Gabriel Varga, Joseph Valtellini. Murthell was also coming up. Also the K1 tournaments were AWESOME.

  K-1 MAX、楽しかったなあ。ブアカーオが最初のトーナメントで魅せた伝説、今でも覚えてる。魔裟斗戦じゃ判定で強盗されかけたよな。

  K-1 Max, fun times. Still remember Buakaw's legendary status when he fought in that first tournament, the judges tried to rob him against Masato.
