  15年契約とか結んでおいて、成績が落ちたら『なんで⁉』って驚くの、マジで意味わからん。後半7〜8年は完全に不良債権だぞ。俺なら8年以上は絶対に出さない。

  Lol i never understood giving these guys 15 year deals then shocked when their play declines and you have to pay for 7-8 unproductive seasons. I wouldn't give more than an 8 year deal.

  新しい大型契約を狙ってた頃、コイツ本当に『ゴロを全力疾走で追うとか期待するなよ、そういうタイプじゃない』って言ったんだぞ。うちのチームが獲りに行かなくて本当に良かった。

  When he was fishing for his new big contract he literally said 'don't expect me to run out grounders, that's not me'. I was so glad my team didn't pursue him.

  現実的なファンなら大体そう思うだろうけど、今季このチームは上に行けないと悟って、メンタル的に試合を放棄したんだろ。

  Padres fans claim he is a valuable clubhouse leader. It doesn’t make sense to me given how toxic and dirty he seems to be, but I’m not a Padres fan, so I guess more power to them to try to win with this guy as the leader.

  俺を含め多くのパドレスファンは、コイツをただのクズで嫌な奴だと思ってる。優れたリーダー？全然違う、ほど遠い。守備はそこそこだが走塁に全力がない、スイングも遅くなって年齢が出てる。最近じゃパドレスファンは、あの長すぎる最悪の契約を球団が被ってでも、プレラー（GM）に何とか放出してほしいと思ってるんだ。

  Many Padres fans including myself see him as a douche and an asshole. He isn’t a great leader, not even close. He has decent defense but no hustle when running the bases, his swing is slow and his age is showing. Lately, Padres fans are wanting Preller to find a way to get rid of him even if we need to eat his ridiculously long and terrible contract.

  パドレスの試合は全部見てる。守備は上手いけど、それ以外は全力プレーがゼロ、ゼロだ。コイツがビリー・マーティン（鬼監督）の下でプレーしてる姿、想像できるか？

  I watch all the Padres games. His fielding skills are good other than that he has zero hustle, zero. Can you picture him playing for Billy Martin?

  ドジャースは引き留めようとすらしなかった。2018年のシーズン後を見れば明らかだろ、ドジャースの選手たちはコイツをマジで嫌ってた。

  Dodgers didn’t even bother to try to resign him. It’s obvious after the 2018 season the Dodgers players really didn’t like him.

  怪我を抱えてるのかもしれない。経験上、こういう風に成績が突然ガクッと落ちるときは、大体どこか痛めてる可能性が高いんだ。

  Maybe he nursing an injury. I hqve noticed that a good chunk of the time, when numbers crater like this suddenly, high likelyhood he is hurt.

  正直、最近のアナリティクス（データ分析）はちょっと行き過ぎだ。大半は理解できるけど、24時間野球を見てる俺ですら半分は意味がわからん。マニーが言ってるのもそこだよ。なのにお前らずっと彼を叩いてる。いい加減にしろ、彼は正しいし、ただマニーらしく言ってるだけだ。最近のお前らマジで変だぞ。
